Artist’s Statement
“Hidden Among the Flowers” was a moment caught while trying to finish a photography assignment. Flowers were in bloom and a butterfly happened to land in the flowering plant in my backyard. Sometimes, the best images are the ones that aren't planned.
About the Artist
Faith McWalter is currently a junior at University of Incarnate Word. She is pursuing a BFA in Photography. She has a AA in English and AA in Teaching. Before COVID, she was planning to become a teacher; however, an opportunity at UIW came up that she could not pass. She is a military wife, a mother, and starting a new part of her life as a photographer.
