Grief is a boulder charging its way down a mountain,

Thrashing around,

Flattening everything.

Breaking through the walls of trees that have held strong for decades,

Destroying the beauties of life that once were shared with them,

Leaving hideous tracks in the ground where lively flowers used to grow.

It hurts

And hurts

And hurts.

Till it hits its violent end.

Where it shatters into thousands of pieces that will need to be picked up

Again

And again

And again.
